Description:

The full set of this covered tureen usually includes an under tray printed with Columbia College, NY (see that listing) and the lid is usually Masonic Hall, Philadelphia, which can also be seen in the exhibit.  In 1816, the old Fly Market on Fulton Street was remodelled and renamed Fulton Market. It was completed in 1821. It was turned over by the city to private operators in 1914.
