In spite of the depiction of  sheep shearing and the unknown building, this plate is reputed to show a view of Niagara Falls from the Canadian side.  This view is also used on two Four Medallion plates with Erie Canal inserts of View of the Aqueduct Bridge at Rochester, and Entrance of the Canal into the Hudson at Albany (see below).
